All Adult Leaders must complete an Adult Application Form. The application must be filled out completely, including the required references. The application may be submitted to your unit leader, who will give it to the Pack committee chairman and our chartered organization representative who will check references and approve it on behalf of our sponsoring organization. This is an important part of our commitment to protecting the youth with whom we work and we appreciate your cooperation.

A good sequence of on-line training for new leaders is:
Youth Protection Training ((found under the General tab on the eLearning page at myscouting.scouting.org)
Fast Start Training for Your Position (Den Leader, etc.) (found under the Cub Scout tab on the eLearning page at myscouting.scouting.org)
This is Scouting (found under the General tab on the eLearning page at myscouting.scouting.org)
Leader-Specific Training (found under the Cub Scout tab on the eLearning page at myscouting.scouting.org)
There are many opportunities for live training as well. There is a monthly roundtable meeting of all Cub Scout leaders throughout our district. The meeting is held the first Thursday of each month at Faith Anglican Church on Walnut Grove at Rocky Point from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. This meeting is filled with information and help for Cub leaders. It is also an opportunity for fun and fellowship with other leaders from throughout the district.
